Junior Theater Festival Travel Teams
Eastern Shore Repertory Theatre is proud to offer students the opportunity to audition for our nationally recognized Junior Theater Festival Select Company.
For more than a decade, ESRT students have represented the Eastern Shore at Junior Theater Festival events across the country, earning awards in performance, music, dance, ensemble work, choreography, technical theatre, and new musical development.
Our JTF Select Company gives young performers the chance to train at a high level, travel with purpose, learn from industry professionals, and experience the larger world of musical theatre alongside students from across the country.
For the 2026/2027 season, ESRT will attend two Junior Theater Festivals:
JTF Atlanta
January 14–18, 2027
For students currently in 9th–12th grade
Performance selection TBD
JTF West
February 4–8, 2027
Sacramento, California
For students currently in 4th–8th grade
Students will perform 13 JR as their adjudication piece and will also participate in an additional performance through the New Works Showcase.
This is a high-commitment, high-growth opportunity for students who are ready to work with focus, generosity, discipline, and joy. Select Company members will rehearse throughout the season, prepare festival performances, attend workshops led by theatre professionals, and represent Eastern Shore Rep on a national stage.
Video auditions for the 2026/2027 JTF Select Company are due by July 15, 2026.
